If Airlines Ran Like Pharmacies, They’d Go Out of Business

someone shared this with me what it would be like if Airlines staffed Pilots like pharmacist and this is insane so if Airlines had staffed like phies do they would have the pilot check in luggage hand out tickets then go to the gate to scan tickets listen to people complain about their seating arrangement pilot.

would also have to get on the flight give the details how to use the seat belt and where the emergency exits are they have to get to the cabin take the plane off once at cruising altitude set the plan on autopilot dish out drinks.

and snacks need to check to make sure the plane isn’t off course or about to crash to come back though and hand out papers to join the rewards program after making an announcement on the PA course they have to gather everyone’s garbage land the plane get everyone off the plane vacuum,

restock clean the Laboratories and then they have to of course personally call back the people that complained about the flight and apologized they couldn’t do more this is literally retail pharmacy to the tea because as a pharmacist my job is not.

only just to make sure a medication isn’t going to hurt someone but I have to not only try to fill it I have to let the patient know if there’s an insurance issue I also then have to pretty much take care of the pharmacy while doing all of this yes if a patient complains it’s my job to have to call the patient directly to find out.

how we can make it better what went wrong but then I’m also expected to do vaccines during all of this and while all this was going on yes I also had to make sure that the bathroom was clean every single day my.

Tex and I would all split those duties just to make sure that no one was doing more than the other I think this analogy is perfect because your safety is in the hands of a pilot driving the plane while your safety is in my my hands to make sure that you’re getting the right medication and that there’s no problems with it.
