I was tagged. Was normal. Can you repeat that? The X-ray was normal. The ultrasound was normal. The blood work was normal, but I’m still in excruciating pain. And you’re telling me to watch who? So, there’s a physical therapist online. So, Dr. Joe, and I think she could help you. And so, you’re prescribing me a YouTuber for my pain? Just to be clear, you’re prescribing me a YouTuber for pain that is up to level 9.
She’s a physical therapist. Uh there’s a million of them that are physical therapists. Um I could also p I could refer you to You could prescribe a medicine that I need until you can provide a scan cuz the next step is is is a CT scan, an MRI scan. That would be the next step, right? So then why are you prescribing me a YouTuber and and and stuff I can get at Walgreens? because you’re trying to use up the resources of my Medicaid because you aren’t taking my pain seriously.
What is this? Because I am in excruciating pain. I am not in pretend pain. I’m not in swimmer’s chest pain. Okay, this feels like real actual pain. And I feel like there’s an old system here playing a huge role in why I’m not getting the care I needed. Um, if you’d like, I can do a CT scan. I want every scan because I am in excruciating pain and I need all four of those medications.
No Pain Medication? Here’s Why a Doctor Said NO
And the one that you’re not letting me have is the controlled opioid that actually helps. Why? Because we don’t So, I’m I’m hearing that you have severe pain. There are studies that show that um Tylenol and ibuprofen and lidocaine do just as well. Um whaties what studies were and who did them? What color were they? Were they all white people? Were the control people being studied white? I want to know because that’s what you’re comparing me to.
And I’m telling you that medication combo does not work. I told you just a second ago that when you guys sent me to the ER, that combo that those three medications, they gave them to me for an hour and I was still in pain. And the doctor even at the ER said I needed that pain medication. Now you’re telling me that doctor was wrong? So, if you feel that the pain is still that severe, I think you should go back to the ER.
You want me to go back to the ER where it’s busy and people are are are just everywhere irritated and and ask them for more pain meds because the provider I went to refused to help me. You didn’t even ask me to lay down on the bed and examine me properly. You had me stand up. That is that is test.
Doctor Denies Pain Meds — Right Decision or Not?
No, that is you not doing your job. This is voluntary incompetence. I’m in pain and now I’m stressed out because of that pain. I didn’t have you get on the table because it seemed like it was uncomfortable for you. Really? Why? Because I’m in pain that I need medication for that I’m asking you for. Yeah.
So, if the pain is this severe, we can do two things. I can order the CT scan. Um, or we can go to the ER. What do you want me to tell the ER? That you’re having severe pain and that I need more hydrocodone. Why won’t you just get that done and over with here? because all I’m going to do is waste their time and resources and I don’t want to do that.
I don’t want to stress them out. I don’t want to stress my Medicaid out. I’ve only got so much. And every time you send me for a pointless scam scan at the ER, you’re not just wasting their time, you’re wasting mine and resources. So if you’d rather not go to the ER, I can order a CT scan. Order a CT scan. order an MRI.
Do what you need to do, but I need all four of those medications. And I don’t think you’re quite understanding the severity of the situation. Okay? I need four medications. That means even the hydrocodone alone won’t help. So even if you just gave me that, I wouldn’t be like, “Yay, I got my pills.” No, I would be like, “Crap, I need to take all these other medications just to get through the day.
You Won’t Believe Why Pain Meds Were Refused
” But you and your happy and hot nonchalant face don’t give a damn about that because No. Because I’m not the kind of person that you would prescribe that medication to, right? Or what are you going to say that you never prescribe it to anybody? Say it. I feel very put on the spot. I don’t You feel put on the spot. I’m the one put on the spot because I’m the one asking for help and you’re refusing me.
and G. And we wonder why Andrea Smith died. Maybe because doctors like you. I’d like to have you speak with a supervisor. Wow. So, that was a lot in that video. I’ll be honest. I worked in primary care and if she’s describing her pain as a 9 out of 10, usually if your pain is a 9 out of 10, you are not going to be able to make like full complete sentences, be standing, be having like a full-on conversation.
The main point I want to get across when it comes to seeing a healthcare provider, if you are not happy with the service, with you know your interactions with them, you have the choice and you have the free will to see another provider, especially if it’s pain. See a pain management doctor.
